Approx. 50 m from private sandy beach is located the hotel Palm Beach Resort. At the beach, there are sun umbrellas and sun loungers free of charge available. The tourist centre is about 15 km away. The town Cairo is around 500 km away (Luxor around 350 km, El Gouna around 20 km). The nearest shopping facilities are located approx. 6 km from the hotel. It is 10 km from the hotel to the nearest bars and restaurants. Also the nearest disco is around 10 km away. For medical treatment in emergencies there is a hospital around 10 km away. The airport (HRG) is approx. 15 km away. The hotel and airport are linked by a shuttle (for a fee). Another airport (RMF) is located approx. 230 km away.

Recently renovated in 2022, the 4-storey resort consists of a main building and 5 adjoining buildings, and has 394 rooms in total. It offers its guests a 24h reception (check-in from 14:00, check-out until 12:00), a lobby with bar, 3 lifts, air conditioning, coiffeur, a mini market, various other shops, a free parking area and a money changing facility. For the meals, there are two restaurants (air-conditioned). In a total 4 bars, you can relax in good company. WiFi is available for free.
