It’s a 5-minute taxi drive from Arrecife Airport, which will cost approximately10€. Alternatively, take the line 23 bus to the hotel -- the journey will take 15 minutes and cost 3€. For those driving, there’s underground parking at the hotel for 8€ per night. Reservations are recommended.

Towering over El Reducto beach, Arrecife Gran Hotel & Spa is the only skyscraper on Lanzarote, meaning far-reaching views from many a window. It’s a luxurious place to stay, with polished floors and marble throughout, and "would not be out of place in Barcelona or Madrid", says The Daily Telegraph.
Arrecife is the capital of Lanzarote and is a pleasant, albeit small and untouristy, place to wander around. Explore the old harbour and castle, or walk along the promenade with its shops, bars and restaurants -- all are a short walk from the hotel. There’s also a bus depot nearby with regular services for those wanting to explore the rest of the island.
The hotel’s Altamar Restaurant and Star City café are both on the 17th floor, while the buffet restaurant, which serves breakfast and dinner, is on the first floor. The hotel also has an indoor pool, a spa, a sauna, a steam room and a hammam. A small charge applies for the spa circuit, and massages and other treatments can be arranged. There’s also a bar adjacent to the pool, with an open-air terrace. In the evenings, a DJ spins the decks and there’s live music at weekends.
There are no balconies in the bedrooms, but it’s worth upgrading to a sea-view room and asking for a higher floor. Rooms are spacious, with floor-to-ceiling windows, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and a small fridge with complimentary mineral water replaced each day. Bath robes and slippers are included as standard.

For scheduled arrivals in the destination area from 04:00 in the morning, the hotel room is only available on the day of arrival from the official check-in time of the respective hotel. The official check-out time of the hotel on the day of departure must also be observed. This includes return flights until 3.00 a.m. on the following day.
