Additional details: The streets within the Castle of São Jorge neighborhood are very narrow, and residents keep the tradition of placing their flower pots and birdcages literally on the street. Although it is part of the charm of this neighborhood, it complicates access to the Solar do Castelo Hotel, where traffic is restricted to residents and taxis 24 hours a day.-If you prefer to use public transport, you should take the 744 Aerobus or the Metro to Rossio. Next to it, there is another small square – Praça da Figueira, where you can take bus 737 to the last stop at the entrance of the castle walls. Solar do Castelo is only 200 meters on foot within the castle walls.-If you plan to rent a car during your stay at Solar do Castelo, we recommend arranging for the vehicle to be delivered to our Lisboa Plaza hotel, where you can use the customer lounge for this purpose. You can also use the parking lot at our Lisboa Plaza hotel (€15 per day) during your stay at Solar do Castelo.-If you are coming by car, we recommend parking at our Lisboa Plaza hotel (€15 per day) and taking a taxi to Solar do Castelo.
