Thalassa Beach Resort

The hotel Thalassa Beach Resort (adults only), especially popular with honeymooners, is around 25 km from Chania Airport (Chania Town around 9 km, Rethymno around 70 km). A sandy / shingle beach is in the vicinity of the hotel. At the beach are sun umbrellas and sun loungers free of charge. The nearest shopping facilities are located approx. 500 m from the hotel, a supermarket can be reached after around 5 m. It is only 100 m from the hotel to the nearest bars and restaurants. Also the nearest disco is around 100 m away. Further entertainment facilities such as a cinema and a theatre are approx. 9 km away. The following attractions can be reached from the hotel: Chania Old Harbor (approx. 9 km away), Elafonisi Beach (approx. 64 km away), Samaria Gorge (approx. 39 km away) and Gramvousa (approx. 33 km away). For mobility during your holiday, there are a taxi rank, a bus stop (approx. 50 m away), a car rental company and a motorcycle rental. For medical treatment in emergencies there is a hospital around 12 km away. The airport (CHQ) is approx. 28 km away. Another airport (HER) is located approx. 150 km away.

Partially renovated in 2022, the 3-storey beach hotel consists of a main building and an adjoining building, and has 83 rooms in total. It offers its guests a reception (check-in from 15:00, check-out until 11:00), a lobby with bar, 2 lifts, air conditioning, a safe (for free) and a free parking area. For the meals, there are two restaurants (air-conditioned). You can relax in good company in the hotel bar. WiFi is available for free. For guests dependent on a wheelchair the hotel has a barrier-free access, a wheelchair accessible lift and a number of wheelchair accessible bathrooms. Room cleaning and concierge service are free of charge. Room service, laundry / ironing service and medical service are available for a fee.

Please note that a climate tax applies in Greece. Payment is made directly on site in cash and is calculated per room. The amount of the tax depends on the type and category of accommodation booked as well as the length of stay and is between EUR 1.50 and EUR 15.00 per room/night.
A refund is not possible.

For scheduled arrivals in the destination area from 04:00 in the morning, the hotel room is only available on the day of arrival from the official check-in time of the respective hotel. The official check-out time of the hotel on the day of departure must also be observed. This includes return flights until 3.00 a.m. on the following day. Early check-in or late check-out can be booked via our service team, subject to availability and for an additional charge.
