The Cove Rotana Resort Ras Al Khaimah

Immersed in a charming landscape between sand dunes and hills, this luxury resort is picturesquely situated on a 600 metre private sandy bay with beautiful views across the Arabian Gulf. The city centre of Ras Al Khaimah is just 8 km away.

Opened in 2009, this luxury hotel was built in the style of an Arabian fort amidst fantastic, spacious gardens into which the two-storey villas blend harmoniously. Two exquisite restaurants, the Cinnamon and Basilico, offer international cuisine with an Oriental flair, as well as superior Mediterranean and Italian dining. Savour a coffee in the Breeze lobby lounge, or a refreshing cocktail at Breakers beach bar. Two large swimming pools and the beautiful private beach (parasols and sun loungers included for guests) guarantee the best of relaxation in the sun.

CLASSIC rooms (approx. 30 sqm) are modern and comfortable, with Egyptian style interiors, and quietly located. All are air-conditioned with ensuite shower, WC, hairdryer, flat-screen satellite TV, telephone, safe, minibar (additional tariff), tea/coffee-maker, iron & ironing board, and balcony/terrace with view of the resort. Maximum occupancy: 2 adults + 1 child up to 6 years (sharing parents' bed). Double rooms for single occupancy have the same comforts as the Classic rooms. DELUXE rooms (approx. 30 sqm) are of the same standard as the Classic rooms, but with a view of the sea or lagoon. Occupancy: max. 2 adults + 1 child up to 6 years (sharing parents' bed).
APARTMENTS are one-room villas in the gardens or on the lagoon. With a floor space of more than 119 sqm, a Villa is best suited to families.
VILLAS are two-roomed properties (approx. 171 sqm) with their own pool and view of the garden or lagoon.
The Apartments and Villas have the same comforts as the Classic rooms, but are more spacious and have an added touch of luxury.

Generous buffet breakfast in the all day dining restaurant. Half-board includes buffet lunch or dinner in the all day dining restaurant (international cuisine with Mediterranean, Asian and Oriental specialities). In the speciality restaurant, you will receive a credit on the half-board rate on three days in the week (reservation necessary) if booking half-board or all-inclusive. All-inclusive: breakfast, lunch and evening buffets in the main restaurant, tea and coffee, selected national and international non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks (cocktails, beer, house wine, spirits) by the glass at both pool bars and Breeze lounge bar (from 11 am to 11 pm).

Children's club for 2-10 year-olds, separate paddling pool and children's play area. Babysitters can also be arranged.

Included, if offered: Jacuzzi, gym, sauna and steam room, beach volleyball, table tennis.

Note:
During the fasting month of Ramadan in 2020, restrictions may occur in hotel operations, e.g. serving of alcohol . In addition, during the day meals are served only indoor (not on the terrace). The entertainment program in the hotel is eliminated or is limited. Ramadan is expected to take place from 23.04.2020 to 23.05.2020 in 2020.


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON TRANSFERS FROM ABU DHABI TO RAS AL KHAIMAH:
For packages to Ras Al Khaimah, flights land at Abu Dhabi. We therefore recommend advance booking of a shuttle to the hotel in Ras Al Khaimah. Simply click on bus transfer when completing your booking.
At the smaller airport in Abu Dhabi, entry and visa checks, as well as luggage handling, are much quicker and smoother than at Dubai International Airport. Ultimately no time will be lost, despite the connecting transfer to Ras Al Khaimah. Instead, travellers can gain their first overall impressions of the country on the journey from Abu Dhabi to Ras Al Khaimah.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Based on a short passed arrangement by the Senate a city tax was introduced in the Emirat Dubai for bookings with travel period from 31/03/2014. This tax is in your known prices not included and must be paid by the guests on the spot in the hotel. A refund is not possible.

For scheduled arrivals in the destination area from 04:00 in the morning, the hotel room is only available on the day of arrival from the official check-in time of the respective hotel. The official check-out time of the hotel on the day of departure must also be observed. This includes return flights until 3.00 a.m. on the following day. Early check-in or late check-out can be booked via our service team, subject to availability and for an additional charge.
