Procedure for flight restrictions


There are flight restrictions on your travel day (e.g. strike)

Please check the airline’s website for your flight status.



You have not yet started your journey:

If your flight has been cancelled due to a flight restriction (e.g. strike) and you have not received an alternative by email, please check your flight under Manage Booking/View Flight on the airline’s website. You will see there whether your flight has already been rebooked.

If your flight has not yet been rebooked, please contact the airline directly to arrange the booking changes.

If you are not happy with the alternative flight, please contact us directly by email service.ewh@hlx.com or telephone +49 (0) 7221 / 96 90 363 to request another alternative.

If your period of stay changes due to flight restrictions, please contact us by email service.ewh@hlx.com so that we can inform the hotel.


You are at your destination:

If your return flight is a day later, please contact us directly by email service.ewh@hlx.com or phone +49 (0) 7221 / 96 90 363 so that we can take care of the extra night.


If your flight is a day early, please contact us by email service.ewh@hlx.com or phone +49 (0) 7221 / 96 90 363 so that we can inform the hotel and automatically refund the unused night to the payment method specified at the time of booking.
