W Abu Dhabi - Yas Island

This cosmopolitan hotel is located on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, overlooking the yacht harbour and Yas Marina Formula 1 circuit. The business hotel is just a few minutes from amazing attractions such as the Sheikh Zayed Mosque and first ever Links golf course in the Middle East. The Corniche and city centre of Abu Dhabi are only about 15 minutes away, and the Marina Mall about 20 minutes. Abu Dhabi International Airport is roughly 7 km from the golf hotel, and Dubai is about a 45-minute drive.

The property is part of the district around the Yas Marina, which includes the Formula 1 circuit. The race track runs through the complex, under a bridge that links the two towers of the hotel. A diamond-patterned, glass and steel canopy covers the towers and bridge. The hotel was built in 2009 and has 499 guest rooms. Guests enter the air-conditioned building through a lobby with 24-hour reception desk and check-out service, safe deposit box, cloakroom, currency exchange and lifts. There is a newspaper stand, café, bar and restaurant. Guests can also make use of conference facilities, wireless LAN internet access, room and laundry services, as well as hotel parking.

Each deluxe room has a floor space of approx. 53 sqm, with an array of sophisticated amenities such as 42-inch LCD TV, free wireless LAN, iPod, Xbox, PS3 (on request), home cinema, atmospheric lighting, safe, tea/coffee-making facilities and lounge area. All rooms have a balcony or terrace with view over the marina or race track. Standard amenities in each room include ensuite bathroom with rain shower and bathtub, double or king-size bed, direct-dial telephone, radio, minibar, as well as individually adjustable air conditioning and heating.

The hotel has a heated outdoor pool with children's paddling area, pool/snack bar and sun deck with loungers.

Note:
During the fasting month of Ramadan in 2020, restrictions may occur in hotel operations, e.g. serving of alcohol . In addition, during the day meals are served only indoor (not on the terrace). The entertainment program in the hotel is eliminated or is limited. Ramadan is expected to take place from 23.04.2020 to 23.05.2020 in 2020.

Hotels in the United Arab Emirates only accept bookings from guests who are over 21 years old and have their own credit card. In most hotels and restaurants and in public buildings smoking is completely prohibited.

For scheduled arrivals in the destination area from 04:00 in the morning, the hotel room is only available on the day of arrival from the official check-in time of the respective hotel. The official check-out time of the hotel on the day of departure must also be observed. This includes return flights until 3.00 a.m. on the following day.
