This grand 4 star hotel is in a quiet location overlooking St Helier and is just 10 minutes'' walk from the city centre. Behind the attractive 19th century facade, there''s a wealth of modern facilities including well appointed bedrooms, a choice of bars and restaurants, fully equipped gym and a first class Ayurvedic Ayush Spa and Wellness centre. Guests can enjoy sitting in the garden or eating out on the terrace in warmer months. On site parking is free and WiFi is complimentary throughout the hotel. An ideal and comfortable base for both business and leisure visitors to Jersey.<br><br>It has been necessary to erect scaffolding to do essential repair work due to damage to the hotel roof during the extreme weather in March. <br><br>The work should be complete by early May and there should be very little or no disturbance to our guests.

The Hotel will be under refurbishment.
Work commencing in March 2019, which will be the deconstruction and removal of the unused East Wing Bedrooms and Great Hall Function Space of the Hotel.
The work which will take approximately 6-8 months will only be between 8.00 hrs and 17.00 hrs Monday to Friday inclusive.
Whilst there may be some disturbance during the working hours above, it should be restricted to the current gardens and terrace area.
The weekends and after 5.00 pm daily will be unaffected. there will be a new restaurant with an alfresco area well away from the proposed work.
Once the deconstruction is complete the Hotel will be totally separate from the site for the proposed apartments that will be built.
The bedrooms closest to the work will not be used for leisure guests.

For scheduled arrivals in the destination area from 04:00 in the morning, the hotel room is only available on the day of arrival from the official check-in time of the respective hotel. The official check-out time of the hotel on the day of departure must also be observed. This includes return flights until 3.00 a.m. on the following day.
