Located in the leafy Southside of Edinburgh, in the beautiful grounds of the Pollock Estate, The Scholar is a newly refurbished hotel within walking distance of all of the city''s world famous landmarks. The hotel''s contemporary restaurant, bar and garden dining area proudly serve the highest quality breakfast, lunch and dinner. We focus on using locally sourced Scottish ingredients, from Stornoway black pudding at breakfast to serving Holyrood Gin from our neighbouring distillery, allowing you to sample Edinburgh''s excellent food and drink scene without needing to leave the hotel.
