The hotel is situated between the Al Maqta and Mussafah bridges that connect Abu Dhabi with the mainland, and lies immediately on a beautiful private beach surrounded by lush gardens. The beach is divided into five separate areas which altogether cover a distance of one kilometre. You will be about a 15-minute drive from the Corniche, Abu Dhabi's newly developed promenade.

The Shangri-La has been luxuriously decorated with a loving eye for detail. Cutting-edge Arabian design blends with a first-class interior to create the perfect setting for your dream holiday. Guests can journey through the resort by drifting along the 700-metre winding canal in small Arabian gondolas. Five superior restaurants tantalise discerning taste buds with specialities from China, France and Vietnam. Two elegant bars invite you to enjoy a snack, aperitif or exotic cocktail. In-room dining is also possible. Five outdoor pools with sun decks, as well as the sandy beach, are all you need when it comes to relaxation. The hotel also has a sauna and jacuzzi. Childcare and babysitting facilities are available for young guests, as well as a children's paddling pool.

The luxurious and very comfortably appointed guest rooms have a floor space of approx. 45 sqm with ensuite bath/WC, separate rain shower, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, flat-screen TV, DVD player, telephone, wireless LAN, iron, tea/coffee-making facilities, minibar, safe and air conditioning. All rooms have a balcony or terrace with views over the verdant hotel gardens. Most rooms also offer beautiful views of the sea. The hotel belongs to the Qaryat Al Beri resort, with a vast array of restaurants and further entertainments. Here you will find a souk (Arabian market), numerous international restaurants, shops, different pools and the spa of the Shangri-La Hotel. Hotel guests are also welcome to use all the facilities at the Shangri-La Hotel. The city of Abu Dhabi is home to a dizzying number of superb shopping and leisure facilities: state-of-the-art conference centres, luxurious hotels and spas, professionally designed golf courses, theatres and, very soon, world-famous museums such as the Guggenheim and Louvre.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Hotels in the United Arab Emirates only accept bookings from guests who are over 21 years old and have their own credit card. In most hotels and restaurants and in public buildings smoking is completely prohibited.

Note:
During the fasting month of Ramadan in 2020, restrictions may occur in hotel operations, e.g. serving of alcohol . In addition, during the day meals are served only indoor (not on the terrace). The entertainment program in the hotel is eliminated or is limited. Ramadan is expected to take place from 23.04.2020 to 23.05.2020 in 2020.

For scheduled arrivals in the destination area from 04:00 in the morning, the hotel room is only available on the day of arrival from the official check-in time of the respective hotel. The official check-out time of the hotel on the day of departure must also be observed. This includes return flights until 3.00 a.m. on the following day. Early check-in or late check-out can be booked via our service team, subject to availability and for an additional charge.
