Approx. 800 m from sandy beach is located the hotel Altair Apartments. At the beach are sun loungers and sun umbrellas for a fee. The tourist centre is about 500 m away. The town Puerto Rico is around 1 km away (Las Palmas around 70 km). The nearest shopping facilities are located approx. 500 m from the hotel, a supermarket can be reached after around 1 m. It is 500 m from the hotel to the nearest bars and restaurants. Also the nearest disco is around 500 m away. Further entertainment facilities such as a cinema are approx. 37 km away. The 6-storey hotel consists of a main building and an adjoining building, and has 45 rooms in total. It offers its guests a 24h reception (check-in from 14:00, check-out until 12:00), a lobby, 3 lifts, a safe (for a fee), a mini market, a free parking area , a security entry system and a money changing facility. For the meals, there is a snack bar (open from 10:00 - 18:00). WiFi can be used by hotel guests for a fee. Room cleaning is free of charge.

From January 1, 2025, the municipality of Mogán will introduce a tourist tax of ?0.15 per person per day (this includes Arguineguin, Patalavaca, Puerto Rico, Mogan, Puerto de Mogan, Tauro, Taurito, Playa del Cura, Amadores). This tax is paid directly to the respective accommodation. The tax is used entirely to finance activities, services and infrastructure in tourist areas and to promote tourism in the municipality in order to ensure the sustainability of the destination.

For scheduled arrivals in the destination area from 04:00 in the morning, the hotel room is only available on the day of arrival from the official check-in time of the respective hotel. The official check-out time of the hotel on the day of departure must also be observed. This includes return flights until 3.00 a.m. on the following day.
