Hotel Taimar

The hotel Taimar by COOEE ( Hotel Taimar) is around 1 km from Costa Calama (Gran Tarajal around 23 km, Puerto del Rosario around 65 km). A sandy / rocky beach is around 900 m from the hotel. At the beach, there are sun umbrellas and sun loungers for a fee. A supermarket can be reached after around 700 m. For mobility during your holiday, there are a taxi rank as well as a bus stop in a distance of around 300 m. For medical treatment in emergencies there is a hospital around 65 km away. The airport (FUE) is approx. 65 km away.

Hygiene and safety measures
In order to protect the health of the guests, the following hygiene and protective measures are taken in the hotel: Luggage transportation by the guest, restaurant space adapted to ensure social distancing, minimum 2m distance between tables at restaurants, new additional adapted outdoor dining areas, controlled access restaurant (limited entry), controlled access bar (limited entry), buffet alternatives (Show-Cooking), individual/closed bottles only, intensification control in chlorination levels and disinfection protocols for pools, minimum 2m between sun beds, masks available for guests, guest infection policy, clean and sanitized rooms, intensification of disinfection / cleaning protocols, housekeeping staff equipped with self-protecting gear, new air treatments (air filters), individual amenities as well as 4x per week change of towels. The hotel has already been awarded a local seal of approval for extensive protective measures after appropriate testing.

Completely renovated in 2020, the 2-storey design hotel has 101 rooms, and spread over one main building and 3 adjoining buildings. It is equipped with a reception (check-in from 16:00, check-out until 12:00), a lobby, a lift, an air conditioning as well as a parking area (for free). For the meals, there is a snack bar. You will be warmly welcomed in both the hotel’s bars. WiFi is available for free. For guests dependent on a wheelchair the hotel has a barrier-free access, a wheelchair accessible lift and a number of wheelchair accessible bathrooms. Medical service is available for a fee.

Breakfast (from 07:30 - 10:00) from the buffet. Half board: breakfast and dinner. All inclusive: breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast and lunch and dinner only in selected restaurants or bars.

For scheduled arrivals in the destination area from 04:00 in the morning, the hotel room is only available on the day of arrival from the official check-in time of the respective hotel. The official check-out time of the hotel on the day of departure must also be observed. This includes return flights until 3.00 a.m. on the following day. Early check-in or late check-out can be booked via our service team, subject to availability and for an additional charge.
