The 9-storey building was built in 1963, renovated in 2002 and consists of 160 rooms, of which 8 are singles, 136 are doubles and 16 are suites. Within the air-conditioned building it offers guests the use of a lobby with a 24-hour reception, a safe, a currency exchange desk and a lift. Additional facilities include a bar, a TV room, an air-conditioned restaurant with a separate non-smoking area, a conference room and Internet access for free as well as a cellar for storing bicycles and bicycle hire. Furthermore, guests are offered a room and laundry service, medical attention- if necessary- as well as parking facilities for those arriving by car. A tourist tax is levied on the islands of Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera. The amount of the tax depends on the type and category of accommodation booked and the length of stay. In the high season (May - October) the costs amount to 1-4 EUR in the low season (November to April) to 0.25-1 EUR, in each case per day/person plus 10% VAT. From the 9th day of stay in the same accommodation, the amount is reduced by 50%. Children under the age of 16 are exempt from the tax. The official check-out time of the hotel on the day of departure must also be observed. This includes return flights until 3.00 a.m. on the following day.
