The hotel Grupotel Las Pitas is located in the vicinity of a sandy/shingle/stone beach. At the beach are sun umbrellas and sun loungers for a fee. The town Airport is around 20 km away (Las Palmas around 40 km, Playa del Inglés around 6 km). The nearest shopping facilities are located approx. 10 km from the hotel, and also a supermarket is in the vicinity of the hotel. For evening dancing you will find a nightclub in a distance of approx. 6 km. Further entertainment facilities such as a cinema are approx. 10 km away. The following attractions can be reached from the hotel: Karting (approx. 1 km away), Hangar 37 Airsoft (approx. 1 km away), Sioux city (approx. 2 km away), Aqualand (approx. 7 km away) and Palmitos Park (approx. 10 km away). The 2-storey resort has 68 rooms, and spread over one main building and 5 adjoining buildings. It offers its guests a reception (check-in from 14:00, check-out until 11:00), a lobby with bar, air conditioning, a safe (for free), coiffeur, a mini market, various other shops and a money changing facility. For the meals, there are three restaurants (air-conditioned) and a snack bar. In a total 4 bars, you can relax in good company. WiFi is available for free. Room cleaning is free of charge. Laundry service and medical service (from 09:00 - 17:00) are available for a fee.

From January 1, 2025, the municipality of Mogán will introduce a tourist tax of ?0.15 per person per day (this includes Arguineguin, Patalavaca, Puerto Rico, Mogan, Puerto de Mogan, Tauro, Taurito, Playa del Cura, Amadores). This tax is paid directly to the respective accommodation. The tax is used entirely to finance activities, services and infrastructure in tourist areas and to promote tourism in the municipality in order to ensure the sustainability of the destination.

For scheduled arrivals in the destination area from 04:00 in the morning, the hotel room is only available on the day of arrival from the official check-in time of the respective hotel. The official check-out time of the hotel on the day of departure must also be observed. This includes return flights until 3.00 a.m. on the following day.
