The hotel Intercontinental Mauritius is especially popular with honeymooners and is situated in the vicinity of a sandy beach. At the beach are sun loungers (where applicable, a fee) available. You can find a food store and other shopping facilities approx. 5 km away. It is 5 km from the hotel to the nearest bars and restaurants. For evening dancing you will find a nightclub in a distance of approx. 10 km. Further entertainment facilities such as a cinema are approx. 10 km away. For mobility during your holiday, there are a car rental company and a motorcycle rental. For medical treatment in emergencies there is a hospital around 5 km away. The airport (MRU) is approx. 57 km away.

Partially renovated in 2022, the 2-storey spa hotel has 210 rooms, and spread over one main building and 9 adjoining buildings. It offers its guests a lobby with bar, 2 lifts, air conditioning, a safe (where applicable, for a fee), a shop, a parking area (where applicable, for a fee), a security entry system and a money changing facility. For the meals, there are 4 restaurants. You will be warmly welcomed in both the hotel’s bars. WiFi is available for free. For guests dependent on a wheelchair the accommodation provides a wheelchair accessible lift. Room service is available for a fee. For the room cleaning, laundry / ironing service and concierge service the hotel charges a fee (where applicable).

TOURIST FEE
A tourist fee of EUR 3 per person per night will be charged for all arrivals from 01.10.2025. This amount is to be paid directly at the hotel and is non-refundable. Children under the age of 12 are exempt.

For scheduled arrivals in the destination area from 04:00 in the morning, the hotel room is only available on the day of arrival from the official check-in time of the respective hotel. The official check-out time of the hotel on the day of departure must also be observed. This includes return flights until 3.00 a.m. on the following day. Early check-in or late check-out can be booked via our service team, subject to availability and for an additional charge.
