The hotel The Waterfront Hotel is located approx. 2 km from a rocky beach, linked by a free shuttle service. The tourist centre is about 500 m away. The town Valletta is around 7 km away. The nearest shopping facilities are located approx. 800 m from the hotel, a supermarket can be reached after around 1 km. It is 300 m from the hotel to the nearest bars and restaurants. Entertainment facilities such as a cinema are approx. 3 km away. For mobility during your holiday, there are a taxi rank as well as a bus stop in a distance of around 50 m, a car rental company and a motorcycle rental. For medical treatment in emergencies there is a hospital around 4 km away. The airport (MLT) is located in the immediate vicinity. The hotel and airport are linked by a shuttle (where applicable, for a fee). Another airport (MLA) is located approx. 10 km away.

Hygiene and safety measures
In order to protect the health of the guests, the following hygiene and protective measures are taken in the hotel: Luggage transportation by the guest, protective screens at the reception, room service included (Full Board and Half Board), controlled access restaurant (limited entry), controlled access bar (limited entry), self-protecting gear available for guests (hand sanitizer, masks, gloves), 2x per week room disinfection as well as daily change of towels.

Completely renovated in 2017, the 12-storey 4-star beach hotel has 165 rooms. It is equipped with a 24h reception (check-in from 15:00, check-out until 11:00), a lobby with bar, 6 lifts, an air conditioning, a safe (for free), a sky bar (open from 19:00 - 23:00), a parking area (for free) as well as a money changing facility. For the meals, there are two restaurants (air-conditioned) and a snack bar. After an eventful day, you can relax in the evening at the hotel bar. WiFi is available for free. For guests dependent on a wheelchair the hotel has a barrier-free access, a wheelchair accessible lift and a number of wheelchair accessible bathrooms. Room cleaning is free of charge. Room service, laundry service and medical service are available for a fee.

Breakfast (from 07:00 - 10:00) a la carte. Half board: breakfast and dinner. Full board: breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast and lunch and dinner only in selected restaurants. Children`s menus also available.

Sports and entertainment: Fitness. A golf course is located approx. 10 km from the hotel. Bicycle rental. Spa area with sun terrace, sauna and whirlpool free of charge. Massages available for a fee. Child supervision: babysitting (for a fee).

Additional fees may apply for certain facilities, amenities or activities. Some services depend on the local climatic conditions and the season. Languages spoken: English, German, Italian, Spanish and Maltese. Accepted methods of payment: Visa, American Express, Diners Club and Euro / MasterCard. Some services and facilities might be closed or offered with restrictions due to COVID19 Prevention measurement. Changes can be applied without previous notice.

The Ministry of Tourism has decided to introduce an eco-tax for hotel accommodation for all bookings. The tax is not included in the price of the holiday and must be paid directly at the hotel. A refund is not possible.
The tax amounts to EUR 0.50 per adult per night, rising to a maximum of EUR 5.00 per adult per stay (11 days plus).

For scheduled arrivals at the destination from 04:00 a.m., the hotel room is only available on the day of arrival from the official check-in time of the respective hotel. The official check-out time of the hotel on the day of departure must also be observed. This includes return flights until 3.00 a.m. on the following day. Early check-in or late check-out can be booked via our service team, subject to availability and for an additional charge.
