Aetovigla Guesthouses

Aetovigla Houses is a hillside compound located at an altitude of 800 m in
the mountains of Krousonas, approximately 20 km from the nearest beach and 30 km
from Heraklion’s international airport. The area is part of UNESCO’s Psiloritis
Natural Park and it is situated in the immediate proximity of mount Gournos, a
NATURA-protected area due to its rare birds of prey and the wild fauna and
flora. The property consists of six fully furnished and detached cottages, all
built from wood and stone in a traditional countryside aesthetic. Each
48-square-meter bungalow can accommodate up to four persons and features an
open-plan bedroom and living room, a fully equipped kitchenette for
self-catering needs, a private bathroom and a large terrace with panoramic views
of the meadow and the sea. An on-site cafeteria is also available for
guests.
