The hotel Blue Sea Beach Affiliated by Melia is especially popular with honeymooners and is located directly by a sandy beach. At the beach, there are sun loungers and sun umbrellas for a fee. The tourist centre is only about 100 m away. The town Heraklio is around 35 km away (Hersonissos around 5 km, Agios Nikolaos around 28 km). A supermarket can be reached after around 150 m. It is only 100 m from the hotel to the nearest bars and restaurants. For evening dancing you will find a nightclub in a distance of approx. 3 km. The following attractions can be reached from the hotel: Mallia Minoan Palace (approx. 4 km away), Knossos Minoan Palace (approx. 35 km away), Agios Nikolaos (approx. 28 km away), Spinalonga Island (approx. 40 km away) and Aquarium (approx. 12 km away). Partially renovated in 2022, the 2-storey beach hotel has 226 rooms in total. It is equipped with a reception (check-in from 15:00, check-out until 11:00), a lobby with bar, a lift, an air conditioning, a safe (for free), a mini market, a parking area (for free) as well as a money changing facility. For the meals, there are two restaurants (air-conditioned) and a snack bar. You will be warmly welcomed in both the hotel’s bars. WiFi is available for free. For guests dependent on a wheelchair the accommodation provides a barrier-free access, a wheelchair accessible lift and a number of wheelchair accessible bathrooms. A refund is not possible.

For scheduled arrivals in the destination area from 04:00 in the morning, the hotel room is only available on the day of arrival from the official check-in time of the respective hotel. The official check-out time of the hotel on the day of departure must also be observed. This includes return flights until 3.00 a.m. on the following day. Early check-in or late check-out can be booked via our service team, subject to availability and for an additional charge.
