Approx. 200 m from a sandy/shingle beach, is situated the hotel Sunshine Village Chersonissos, which is especially popular with honeymooners. It is linked from April to October by a free shuttle service. At the beach are sun umbrellas and sun loungers for a fee available. The tourist centre is only about 100 m away. The nearest town is Hersonissos (Heraklion around 27 km, Malia around 5 km). You can find a food store and other shopping facilities approx. 100 m away. It is only 100 m from the hotel to the nearest bars and restaurants. For evening dancing you will find a nightclub in a distance of approx. 1 km. Further entertainment facilities such as a cinema and a theatre are approx. 2 km away. The following attractions can be reached from the hotel: STAR BEACH AQUA PARK (approx. 100 m away), LYCHNOSTATIS MUSEUM (approx. 200 m away), GO KART (approx. 100 m away), ALEKOS GARDEN BEACH (approx. 200 m away) and KOUTOULOUFARI VILLAGE (approx. 600 m away). Location
The BW Sunshine Village is located on the hillside of Hersonissos overlooking the village and the sea. The beach (Star beach Water Park) can be reached at a distance of 650 m. Thelively center of Hersonissos is 1,5 km away. The hotel has a daily shuttle service to the beach free of charge.
Facility
The one-storey 2nd row beach hotel has 64 rooms, and spread over one main building and a total 19 adjoining buildings. The rooms were last renovated in 2022. It offers its guests a reception (check-in from 14:00, check-out until 11:00), a lobby with bar, air conditioning, a safe (for a fee), a free parking area and a money changing facility. For the meals, there are two restaurants (air-conditioned) and a snack bar. You will be warmly welcomed in both the hotel’s bars. WiFi is available for free. Room cleaning is free of charge. Please note that a climate tax applies in Greece. Payment is made directly on site in cash and is calculated per room. The amount of the tax depends on the type and category of accommodation booked as well as the length of stay and is between EUR 1.50 and EUR 15.00 per room/night.

The official check-out time of the hotel on the day of departure must also be observed. This includes return flights until 3.00 a.m. on the following day.
