The hotel Apollo Hotel I and II, especially popular with honeymooners, is located approx. 600 m from a sandy beach. At the beach are sun umbrellas and sun loungers for a fee. The tourist centre is about 400 m away. The town Georgioupolis is around 2 km away (Rethimno around 13 km, Chania around 45 km). A supermarket and other shopping facilities can be reached after 400 m. It is 400 m from the hotel to the nearest bars and restaurants. Also the nearest disco is around 400 m away. The following attractions can be reached from the hotel: Historical - Folklore Museum of Gavalochori, Venetian Fortress, Municipal Garden, Historical and Folklore Museum and Archaeological Museum of Rethymno. For mobility during your holiday, there are a taxi rank as well as a bus stop in a distance of around 500 m, a car rental company and a motorcycle rental. For medical treatment in emergencies there is a hospital around 25 km away. The airport (CHQ) is approx. 45 km away. The hotel and airport are linked by a chargeable shuttle (private ground transfer) (private ground transfer, where applicable, for a fee). Another airport (HER) is located approx. 100 km away.

Partially renovated in 2023, the 3-storey family hotel consists of a main building and 2 adjoining buildings, and has 60 rooms in total. It offers its guests a reception (check-in from 14:00, check-out until 12:00), a lobby, air conditioning, a safe (for a fee), coiffeur and a free parking area. For the meals, there is a restaurant (air-conditioned). WiFi is available for free. Room cleaning is free of charge.

Please note that a climate tax applies in Greece. Payment is made directly on site in cash and is calculated per room. The amount of the tax depends on the type and category of accommodation booked as well as the length of stay and is between EUR 1.50 and EUR 15.00 per room/night.
A refund is not possible.

For scheduled arrivals in the destination area from 04:00 in the morning, the hotel room is only available on the day of arrival from the official check-in time of the respective hotel. The official check-out time of the hotel on the day of departure must also be observed. This includes return flights until 3.00 a.m. on the following day. Early check-in or late check-out can be booked via our service team, subject to availability and for an additional charge.
