In the very heart of the Hanseatic city, yet surrounded by green space, is the 4 star superior Radisson Blu Hotel.

The location of this international hotel could hardly be more perfect: next to the Planten un Blomen botanical gardens and just a short walk from the congress centre, casino, opera and cinema as well as the elegant shopping arcades at the Jungfernstieg. The neighbouring Dammtor station offers the easiest means of public transport access. Since the middle of December 2008, there has been a direct suburban line S-Bahn connection to the airport 12 km away. The hotel also has 1,000 paid parking spaces in its underground garage.

There are three different styles to the modern guest rooms: natural with light wood and soft cream accents, urban with minimal, metropolitan design, and New York Mansion with stylish, upper class lounge feel. All rooms have bathroom/WC or shower/WC with hairdryer, direct-dial telephone, TV, pay TV, radio, minibar, individually adjustable heating and air conditioning, as well as a desk.

According to the latest law from the January 1st, 2013 a cultural and tourist tax for overnight stays in the destination Hamburg will be charged.
This applies exclusively to leisure travelers. The amount is based on the net cost of the journey. The following scale is taken as a basis:
Travel cost (netto) = tax to be paid to the hotel: 10 euros = city tax EUR 0, 25 euros = city tax EUR 0,50, 50 euros = city tax 1 euro, 100 euros = city tax 2 euro, 150 euros = city tax 3 euros, 200 euros = city tax 4 euros, for every further EUR 50 = EUR 1 city tax is added.
This applies per guest per night. This tax is to be paid directly to the hotel.

City tax must be paid on site. approx. ¤3.60 per person/night For scheduled arrivals in the destination area from 04:00 a.m., the hotel room is only available on the day of arrival from the official check-in time of the respective hotel. The official check-out time of the hotel on the day of departure must also be observed. This includes return flights until 3.00 a.m. on the following day.
