The hotel Tamra Beach lies approx. 200 m from a private sandy/shingle beach. At the beach are sun umbrellas and sun loungers free of charge. The town Cairo is around 500 km away (Taba around 400 km). The nearest shopping facilities are located approx. 3 km from the hotel. It is 3 km from the hotel to the nearest bars and restaurants. For medical treatment in emergencies there is a hospital around 24 km away. The airport (SSH) is approx. 35 km away. The hotel and airport are linked by a shuttle (for a fee).

Recently renovated in 2023, the 2-storey resort has 244 rooms in total. It offers its guests a reception (check-in from 14:00, check-out until 12:00), a lobby with bar, air conditioning, a safe (for free), a mini market, various other shops, a parking area (for a fee) and a money changing facility. For the meals, there are two restaurants (air-conditioned). In a total 4 bars, you can relax in good company. WiFi is available for free. For guests dependent on a wheelchair the accommodation provides a number of wheelchair accessible bathrooms. Room cleaning is free of charge. Laundry service and medical service are available for a fee.

The official check-out time of the hotel on the day of departure must also be observed. This includes return flights until 3.00 a.m. on the following day.
