The hotel Sierra Hotel, especially popular with honeymooners, is around 500 km from Cairo (Al Tur around 100 km, Dahab around 100 km). The private sandy / rocky beach is around 500 m from the hotel. At the beach are sun loungers and sun umbrellas free of charge. The tourist centre is about 25 km away. The nearest shopping facilities are located approx. 200 m from the hotel, a supermarket can be reached after around 250 m. It is only 200 m from the hotel to the nearest bars and restaurants. Also the nearest disco is around 200 m away. The following attractions can be reached from the hotel: Soho Square (approx. 200 m away), Go Karting (approx. 10 km away) and Waterpark (approx. 10 km away). For mobility there is a taxi rank (around 1 m away). For medical treatment in emergencies there is a hospital around 35 km away. The airport (SSH) is approx. 35 km away. The hotel and airport are linked by a shuttle (for a fee). Also to the next beach a free shuttle service is available.

Partially renovated in 2020, the 2-storey 2nd row beach hotel consists of a main building and 10 adjoining buildings, and has 392 rooms in total. It offers its guests a 24h reception (check-in from 14:00, check-out until 12:00), a lobby with bar, air conditioning, a safe (for free), coiffeur, a mini market, various other shops, discotheque, a free parking area , a security entry system and a money changing facility. For the meals, there are two restaurants (air-conditioned) and a snack bar. In a total 3 bars, you can relax in good company. WiFi is available for free.
