Approx. 500 m from the hotel?s own rocky beach is situated the hotel Pestana Vila Lido Madeira Premium Ocean Hotel (former Pestana Palms). The tourist centre is about 1 km away. The town Funchal is around 3 km away (Ribeira Brava around 20 km). A supermarket and other shopping facilities can be reached after 50 m. It is only 100 m from the hotel to the nearest bars and restaurants. For evening dancing you will find a nightclub in a distance of approx. 2 km. Further entertainment facilities such as a theatre can be reached after approx. 3 km. For mobility during your holiday, there are a taxi rank (around 5 m away), a bus stop (approx. 200 m away), a car rental company and a motorcycle rental. For medical treatment in emergencies there is a hospital around 2 km away. The airport (FNC) is approx. 25 km away. The hotel and airport are linked by a chargeable shuttle. Another airport (PXO) is located approx. 58 km away.

The 9-storey beach hotel has 112 rooms, and spread over one main building and one adjoining building.
